Memoirs of a Loon

17 June, 2011 Friday // Memoirs of a Loon

iconThe night really does evoke odder thoughts than does the day. I think it is the casting of shadows and darkness which lets your mind fill in the gaps—both the darkness before your eyes and its reflection into the back of your mind. For me, I am flooded with sentimentality and emotions are unearthed. I learn something each time that I will not remember until the unknown future recycles the present and past. These moments I call déjà vu or my “reincarnation” visions. What is there to tell me that everything I experience in this body is necessarily of this lifetime?

7 Dreams

Ahh it is very much the same for me. I too, have odder thoughts during the night than the day. The abstract thoughts may have its origins in your brain’s realization that it is about time to wind down, thus sprouting bizarre thoughts that lead to…well, some sort of revelation or just an odd thought you’ll eventually forget unless you write it down. Ever think to write them down just to reflect on them later?

YES ALL OF THIS.
I feel like at the night maybe you are more sound of mind because everything is quite and you can hear your thoughts.

I’m glad to see you have blogged, I really hope you are doing well!
And you know I love to pieces

Such an interesting post, Nicole!
I think these visions you experience are not from this lifetime either (well, that’s what my wild side would like to believe anyhow). But I also think that the visions tend to manifest themselves in your writing. I swear, Nicole, I think it was your destiny to study literature because the things you write have so much wisdom and insight, it’s unbelievable that it comes from you! So proud, so proud!
xxxo xxxo

Hi Nicole, just want to stop and say hi! This layout is amazing! I want to tell you that I’m going to move my portfolio, Creative Soul, inside my blog, so it will be up and there will be a new url!

This was an interesting read, even if it sort of seemed like just a collection of thoughts. ^^

Omg. Dejavu happens so much to me! It is ridiculous. I love your layout, BTW. :)

I loved this blog though, very interesting.
